United Clam Lovers of America
This is not really a hoax, but it's related, so I'll put it here.
I love clams, and operate a website called www.WeLoveClams.com. It is the official website of the United Clam Lovers of America. It's a legitimate organization that is open to anyone, but so far, I am the only member.
The association gives awards, such as "The Best Fried Clams on Earth." Other people are free to disagree. They can give their own awards, and even have their own websites.
